Children and Teen Services
Comprehensive Support for Every Stage
At Luke’s House, we help children and teens heal, grow, and thrive. Through compassionate, evidence-based care—including therapy, skills training, and family support—we guide children and youth in building resilience and brighter futures.
Our team understands the challenges that come with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and neurodivergent needs. We offer treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and substance use concerns. With individualized treatment and family collaboration, we strengthen emotional regulation, confidence, and coping skills—helping every child reach their full potential at home, in school, and in the community.
A Safe Place to Heal and Grow
Healing Through Connection and Creative Expression
We know that children and teens experience and express trauma in unique ways. Our specialized services are designed to help young people feel safe, understood, and supported as they begin their healing journey. We work closely with families to provide care that nurtures resilience, restores trust, and builds strong emotional foundations. Our compassionate team tailors each treatment plan to meet the developmental needs of each child and teen and the unique circumstances of their family. Together, we help transform painful experiences into opportunities for growth, resilience, and hope.
Our approaches include:
Play and Creative Expression Therapy – Through play, art, storytelling, and other creative activities, children and teens can express feelings and experiences they may not have words for. This safe, supportive process helps them process trauma, build coping skills, and regain a sense of control.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) – A structured, evidence-based approach that helps children, teens, and their caregivers understand trauma, manage difficult emotions, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding.
Attachment-Based Interventions – Focused on strengthening the bond between young people and their caregivers, these interventions help children and teens feel secure, supported, and connected, laying the groundwork for emotional healing and healthy development.
